Writers often fall into two categories: plotters and pantsers. Plotters meticulously outline their story, knowing key events and character arcs before they start writing. This method provides a clear roadmap but can feel restrictive. Pantsers, on the other hand, write by the seat of their pants, allowing the story to unfold organically. This can lead to unexpected twists but may require more extensive revisions. Both methods have their merits. If you're unsure which suits you, try a hybrid approach: outline key plot points while allowing flexibility within scenes. The key is to find what helps your creativity flow.
